4- For the treatment of RINGWORM INFECTION OF SCALP AND BEARD (Tinea barbae, Tinea capitis)
5- For the treatment of FUNGUS INFECTION OF THE TOENAIL OR FINGERNAIL DUE TO DERMATOPHYTES
How To Use This Medicine
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
* Take this medicine WITH food, a meal, or a snack. Do not take on an empty stomach.
* This medicine is absorbed best when taken with a HIGH FAT meal, e.g. cheesburger, whole milk, or ice cream. Inform doctor if
youre on a low-fat diet.
* Use this medicine for the full prescribed treatment period. DO NOT skip doses or discontinue unless directed by your doctor.
What To Do If You Miss A Dose
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
How To Store This Medicine
Keep in original closed container in a dark, cool, and dry place away from children. Discard unneeded medicine.

Call Your Doctor Immediately If You Experience
Severe skin itching with patches; Skin rash; Increased sensitivity to sunlight; Confusion; Swelling usually of face or lips;
Sore throat; Fever.
Other Side Effects
Abdominal discomfort or pain; Dizziness; Headache; Insomnia; Nausea; White patches in the mouth/tongue; Diarrhea; Vomiting;
Unusual tiredness or weakness; Protein found in urine; Changes in urination frequency or amount; Abnormal blood cell count;
Liver toxicity (yellow eyes or skin); Stomach or intestinal bleeding.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor.
Precautions And Warnings
* Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit
justifies potential risk to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
* STOP TAKING MEDICINE & GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF A HYPERSENSITIVITY OR ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION occurs: (see symptoms
below):-
* shortness of breath, fast or irregular breathing, fever, joint pain, fast pulse, lightheadedness or fainting, swelling of
face, hives, & itching.
* Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to any of the cephalosporins, penicillins,
penicillin-like medicines.
* The effect of BIRTH CONTROL pills may be decreased while taking this medicine. To avoid unwanted pregnancy, use an additional
means of birth control.
* This medicine may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. DO NOT drive or operate machinery until you become familiar
with its effects.
* AVOID concurrent use of alcohol or other CNS depressants as it may intensify the drowsiness, dizziness, or lightheadedness
effect of this medicine.
* This medicine may cause increased sensitivity to the sun. You should AVOID prolonged or excessive exposure to direct and/or
artificial sunlight.
* LUPUS-like syndromes, or exacerbation of lupus erythmatosus have occurred in patients receiving this medicine.
* MAY DECREASE the effects of blood-thinning medications (including ASPIRIN, NSAIDS, COUMADIN, etc..).
