How To Use This Medicine
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
* Take medication at the same time each day.
* Take this medicine WITH food, a meal, or a snack. Do not take on an empty stomach.
* If TWO consecutive tablets are missed, take two tablets as soon as remembered, with the next pill at the usual time.
* Or take two tablets daily for the next two days, then resume regular schedule.
* Use additional form of contraception for the for the remainder of the cycle.
* If three or more consecutive doses are missed, discontinue drug, use a substitute form of contraception, and contact your
doctor as soon as possible.
How To Store This Medicine
Keep in original closed container in a dark, cool, and dry place away from children. Discard unneeded medicine.
Call Your Doctor Immediately If You Experience
Abdominal discomfort or pain; Depression; Vaginal bleeding; Yellowing of eyes or skin; Visual disturbances; Clotting within a
blood vessel; Weight loss.
Other Side Effects
Headache; Itching; Skin inflammation; Skin rash; Abnormal hair growth; Cardiovascular irregularities; Nausea; Fluid retention;
Vomiting; Weight gain; Bleeding irregularities; Menstrual irrigularities; Vaginal fungal infections; Inflammation of the

Precautions And Warnings

* Certain drug interactions (SUCH AS SOME ANTIBIOTICS) may decrease the effectiveness of BIRTH CONTROL PILLS. Check with your
doctor first.
* Notify physician of signs of BLOOD CLOT (pain in the groin or calves, chest pain, shortness of breath, severe headache,
dizziness, vision disturbance)
* Cigarette smoking increases the risk of cardiovascular side effects from this medication. The risk increases with age and
with heavy smoking.
* Examples of cardiovascular effects are stroke and heart attack.
* This medicine may cause increased sensitivity to the sun. You should AVOID prolonged or excessive exposure to direct and/or
artificial sunlight.
* This medicine may cause increased levels of cholesterol and/or other lipids. Use with caution if you have moderate to high
lipid concentrations.
* This medication does not prevent against HIV infection or other sexually transmitted diseases.
* If you wear contact lenses and changes in vision or lens tolerence occurs, contact your opthalmologist.
* Because of INTERACTION with other drugs, report the use of any other prescription and nonprescription medicines to your
doctor.
* The results of some MEDICAL or LAB tests may be affected by this medicine. Inform the doctor in charge that you are taking
this medicine.
